“Do you have news of Jean-Louis Fournier? We hear less about him this days.
- Maybe he’s dead?
- We’d know!
- Not sure…
Jean-Louis Fournier isn’t dead. He’s playing dead. With a lot of conviction. This is not his last will but his last temptation.
Even laid down on an autopsy table, this quiet man makes a lot of noise.
Egoine entered his life with a blade, she is going to make him say what we don’t know about him with her scalpel. He cannot hide behind his father, his children, his loves, his mother, like in his previous books. We are going to finally discover what there is in the head, heart and belly of this writer. Impossible to escape with a pirouette.
Why decide to report on his autopsy? Even among the dead, he doesn’t like to do like everyone Jean-Louis Fournier. In order to spare us a litany of faded memories. In order to laugh of his little human shortcomings. And most of all to make up with his opposite senses. His pride and humility. His indifference and sensibility. His tenderness disguised as hardness. His poetry and cruelty. Jean-Louis Fournier, the human genre interests him. His worst flaw would be to be charming.
Danser au bord de l'abîme
Following a sudden impulse, Emma leaves her husband and children to escape with a man she barely knows.
What do we risk when we risk everything?
